Cultural Districts Ordinance Vote February 27
NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
The Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Stonington, Connecticut, will be held at Stonington High School, 176 S Broad St., Pawcatuck, CT 06379 on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Check-in will begin at 6:00 p.m. Please bring your identification.
The THIRD item on the agenda to consider, discuss and vote upon: A resolution to adopt an Ordinance establishing two (2) Cultural Districts within Town and establishing a Cultural District Commission.
As you know the EDC and the Cultural Districts Committee have been working hard to bring this to fruition. Once Stonington has State approval for the districts, many opportunities become available. You can read about them here:
